Mohammed Alafranji has more than 18 years of Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Capacity Building Experience in leading firms and organizations operating in Palestine & Jordan, His past experience was with PEPSI Palestine, MASSAR Associates, Paltel Group’s Hadara Internet Services, DAI, Solutions for Development Consulting, TATWEER Business Services, AqarCircle and Al Jude for Scientific Care [NewThink], worked on projects funded by USAID, World Bank, DFID/UKAID, GIZ, UNESCO and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, he was responsible of designing, implementing and supervising Business Model Design, Marketing Planning, Marketing campaigns, Market research, Sales and Marketing Training and Capacity building using all needed tools within the available resources to provide accurate findings and the most truthful recommendations. He worked closely with Palestinian Technology sector, helped in producing the local Technology cluster competitiveness assessment, strategy formulation and providing technical marketing assistance for companies and startups. He served as a board member at the Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies [PITA] in 2011 to 2013.
Mohammed currently serves as a board member at the Social Media Club of Jordan and the co-founder of Habaybna.net, Partner at AXON MENA, and CEO of SADAF Technology Development.
Mohammed also is the organizer of the annual Startup Weekend event in Gaza 2011 to 2016 [SWGaza] & implemented 3 Entrepreneurship capacity building programs for MercyCorps/USAID named as TeamStart (Creative Entrepreneurship, Empowering Women through Technology Entrepreneurship, Arabization & Digital Arabic Content Creation Entrepreneurship)
